SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to perform a roof survey on the upper roof of the subject building, and to provide recommendations for repairs. The roof system was in poor condition. Evidence of several leaks was observed directly below the roofs. Installation of an insulated SBS roof system was recommended for the east roof and a liquid-applied protected membrane system on the west roof. Subsequently the firm provided design and construction administration services for work including replacement of existing roof membrane, replacement of existing roof drains in kind, parapet reconstruction, replacement of acoustical fiberboard deck, masonry repairs, and mortar joint repointing.
