Hunter College, Thomas Hunter Hall
New York, NY

Constructed in 1909, Thomas Hunter Hall is a registered New York City Landmark. The restoration program entailed a complete facade inspection, materials analysis, and a series of cleaning tests prior to construction. The project also included roof replacement and limestone repairs at various locations, as well as a facade cleaning. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services, and worked closely with the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission in compliance with Thomas Hunter Hall's historical easements. The project was honored with an award from the Friends of the Upper East Side Historic Districts.
