Bellevue Hospital Center, 562 First Avenue
New York, NY

Four pavilions constitute this medical center. Three 9-story structures designed by Mckim, Mead & White were constructed between 1908 and 1939 and feature brick masonry facades, with stone and terra cotta accents. The other 25-story hospital building, constructed in 1980, consists of a precast concrete facade. The repair campaign addressed the integrity of the building envelope of all structures. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services.
