The project consisted of stabilizing and restoring vault spaces below the ambulance ramp of Woodhull Medical Center. The vault houses Con Edison electrical transformers that serve the medical center. SUPERSTRUCTURES modified its investigation procedure, detailing of the work, and the contractor's construction sequencing to adapt to the confined space of the vaults and the presence of the high voltage transformers. The firm issued construction documents and specifications for the shoring and the restoration of the vault compartments and provided bidding assistance and construction administration services.
