SUPERSTRUCTURES conducted a FISP Cycle 8C critical examination of this steel-framed, 19-story educational building constructed in 1981. A restoration plan followed to address deficiencies in the precast concrete panel-clad facade. Restoration work included: removal and replacement of spalled or cracked concrete panels; parapet replacement involving increasing the height of the existing parapet; replacement of deteriorated or missing joint sealants; repair and replacement of flashing; and replacement of existing windows and skylights.
