Kiely Hall, Queens College
Queens, NY

Most of the existing ventilation units in this academic building didn’t function, and deteriorated, single-pane windows were promoting energy loss. Cracked glazing, sealant failures, and frame gaps caused drafts and temperature fluctuations—and discomfort to occupants.

SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services restore the hall’s exterior envelope. Our solution included replacement, retrofit, and repair of the building’s windows and curtain wall, improving performance and comfort while maintaining the character of the 1967 facade.
