675 Sackett Street is a 4-story brick masonry veneer condominium building, located in Brooklyn. SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to conduct an investigation and design program addressing water leaks at the 3rd-story facades. Based on our investigation, the firm concluded that the porous nature of the masonry construction and a lack of flashings at critical facade locations, particularly at balcony windows and door openings, was responsible for the leaks. SUPERSTRUCTURES is currently providing construction administration services.
