60 Sutton Place South
New York, NY

This 19-story building was designed by Arthur Wieser and completed in 1952. SUPERSTRUCTURES was retained to provide investigation, design and construction services for an exterior restoration including concrete spall and crack repair, brick masonry replacement and repointing, and lintel restoration. The project also involved removing all the obsolete ventilation grilles from under the windows and toothing in new brick. Liquid membrane waterproofing was applied at the deep planters around the base of the building to prevent water infiltration of first floor apartments.
