This 21-story co-op building was constructed in the 1960s. After SUPERSTRUCTURES successfully resolved the building's façade and roof issues, the owners asked the firm to address their deteriorating planters and sidewalk vault. After presenting the board with several design alternatives using photo-simulation software, final plans and specifications were developed for granite planters, a privacy wall, terrace waterproofing, and fixtures. With its crisp, clean lines, the granite trim and bluestone detail provide a more sophisticated look than the original rusticated stone and iron handrail.
