SUPERSTRUCTURES conducted a restoration of the envelope of this 14-story condominium in the West Village built in 2002. A close-up inspection of 100% of the facade was performed and a leak investigation using non-destructive testing methods identified possible sources of water infiltration. Restoration work included: patching cracked concrete; concrete cleaning; replacing the roof base perimeter flashing; removing the roof overburden to inspect the membrane and repair any open terminations; replacing joint sealants at metal flashings and coping stones; and replacing pipe penetration flashing.
