The complex comprises two 17-story residential apartment buildings. Constructed in the late 1950s, these buildings have brightly colored glazed brick veneer over a reinforced concrete structural frame. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design and construction administration services. The project included the restoration of the brick and exterior concrete masonry. Bulging and damaged bricks were replaced, shelf angles with flashings were installed, and spalling and cracked concrete units along the balconies were replaced. Owner: New York University.
