This 16-story commercial building in Midtown Manhattan was built in 1927. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services to restore its facade.

Restoration work included: replacement of cracked masonry units; removal of existing windows with lintels and installation of brick masonry infill; brick masonry corner replacement; replacement of existing steel lintels; scraping and painting of existing steel shelf angles and spandrel beams, including replacement of brick masonry; replacement of terra cotta units with cast stone and GFRC; and restoration of cracked and spalled terra cotta units.
