Our 2025 series of “Lunch & Learn” seminars continued last week with "The Ins and Outs of Reroofing" presented by Michael Popeck of GAF/Siplast. 60 SUPERSTRUCTURES team members expanded their knowledge of reroofing, earned CEUs, and enjoyed a free lunch in our presentation space.

Given that reroofing of existing buildings accounts for roughly 75% of the roofing industry, Mr. Popeck discussed how to determine if a building requires a replacement roof, reroofing-specific requirements, investigation methods, analysis of decks and insulation, and the necessary aspects of wind resistance and energy efficiency upgrades. He also shared information to assist with the design and installation of flashing details given existing conditions.

Our in-house continuing education opportunities will continue with industry experts offering their insights on a variety of topics related to our practice. These sessions help ensure that our team continues to build its knowledge of the latest products and methods to better serve our clients.
