Built on the site of the former Hippodrome Theater, this Midtown office building was completed in 1954, enlarged in the 60s, and reclad in 2005 with a steel-and-glass curtain wall system.
SUPERSTRUCTURES conducted a restoration of the building’s envelope to remediate issues identified through a FISP examination. Restoration work included repair of cracked and spalled concrete and masonry, joint sealant replacement, re-securing of glazing gaskets, and brick and CMU repointing.
