East Harlem District Health Center
New York, NY

The East Harlem District Health Center is a four-story building, constructed circa 1935, with top two floors and additional wings built in 1950. The exterior wall construction consists of brick masonry. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design and construction administration services for an exterior restoration. The scope included new roofs, facade restoration including cleaning, and replacement of selected windows, skylights, and doors. The window color scheme was varied as appropriate for original building and 1950s additions. A new ADA-compliant access ramp was installed and entry stairs were refurbished.
