Essex House is a 45-story hotel and condominium building, completed in 1931. The restoration program at this art deco / art moderne structure encompasses exterior masonry wall construction, including corner reconstruction spanning 30 floors, and extensive lintel replacement. Also included are stone and terra cotta ornamentation, parapets and copings, and spandrel steel at the upper levels. SUPERSTRUCTURES is providing investigation, design, and construction administration services.
