Co-op City is a cooperative housing development located in the northeast Bronx that comprises 35 high-rise buildings on a 330 acre site. The power plant structure is a 45' high composite steel and concrete frame structure, with an infill between frames consisting of a 4" brick masonry veneer and a concrete masonry backup. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided an assessment of current conditions and necessary repairs, design documents for the reconstruction of facade brickwork, and construction administration services.
