470 Vanderbilt Avenue comprises five concrete framed buildings. The restoration program addressed the buildings exterior walls, including spalled concrete and decorative coating. The existing ACM-containing facade coating was abated in order to repair the underlying deteriorated concrete. The coating was removed in a controlled manner and in accordance with stringent Department of Environmental Protection requirements. SUPERSTRUCTURES provided investigation, design, and construction administration services.
