Architectural Engineer: Design and execute projects related to all facets of the building envelope according to unique demands of clientele with emphasis on architectural and historical restoration projects. Analyze, assess, and provide technical advice regarding structural integrity of buildings and strength of materials used in construction taking into account chemistry and physics of materials. Investigate existing conditions of various facade types, including curtain walls, stone cladding, and masonry; conduct probes as required. Study and research existing conditions, potential repairs, and applicable codes. Conceptualize and design repairs and/or replacements of elements of building envelope. Prepare detailed reports including options, sketches, and cost estimates. Conduct Special Inspections of curtain walls, metal, and masonry with the aid of suspended and pipe scaffolds. Prepare architectural construction drawings and specifications, provide structural analysis of materials, perform code review and analysis, and conduct product and system research.

Required: Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering or Equivalent and Two (2) Years of Experience.

35 hours a week
Salary: $36.35 per hour
